Fabulous Walks
July 2008

Collaboration with Phil Smith and Rachel Sweeny to create a 1 hr performance walk.  Taking on the role of story tellers we told tales linking ballerinas to ancient geology and ill fated seamen in order to convey a veiled interpretation of the locations we were walking through.   Review: http://www.a-n.co.uk/interface/reviews/single
Funded by Arts Council England and  Teignbridge District Council.
Mobile Machinoeki
July 2007
Collaboration with Phil Smith and Katie Etheridge in order to create a means of stimulating the creative impulse of other walkers. Behind this work lies the idea of ‘mythogeography’, an understanding of place that puts the fanciful, on equal terms with ‘factual’; So that official history engages with hidden histories to break down the identity of places.    Funded by Arts Council England and Teignbridge District Council.
